Mandarin Chinese Language and Culture Classes 

When: Novermber 16, 2009 - February 14, 2010
(No lesson November 23 - 29, December 21-31,January 1-3)

 


Chinese Culture Club (CCC) is now offering the following classes. Teachers are Chinese native teachers who have rich experiences in teaching Chinese as a second language. If you are interested in any of the classes, please apply using this application form. You can also click Forms link to find the application form.

All our classes also have liability insurance so that students will have a hassle free learning invironment.

NOTE: All class costs are based on 5 or more students class size.

Language Classes

 001 (Once a week)

This class is for K, 1st and 2nd grade students. Students will learn to listen and speak most basic Chinese. Students will learn Chinese Pin Yin (Pronunciation rule). Teaching is focused on students’ interests on Chinese. So singing Chinese songs, watching Chinese movies, playing Chinese games, or simple Chinese cooking may be used to aid teaching.

Total $110 for 10 weeks (Including material fee)

T: 5:45-6:45pm  or  S: 4:00-5:00pm

 002 (Once a week)

This class is for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Besides listening and speaking basic daily Chinese, students will have more exposure to Pin Yin and will learn to read some Chinese characters. Teaching is still focused on students’ interests. So singing Chinese songs, watching Chinese movies, playing Chinese games, or simple Chinese cooking may be used to aid teaching.

Total $110 for 10 weeks (Including material fee)

W: 5:45-6:45pm  or  S: 4:00-5:00pm

003 (Once a week)

This class is for 6th grade above students including adults. Students will learn to listen, speak, and read Chinese; students will have more exposure to Pin Yin and Chinese characters. Tourist Chinese will be added to the contents. Teaching is still focused on students’ interests. So singing Chinese songs, watching Chinese movies, playing Chinese games, or simple Chinese cooking may be used to aid teaching.

Total $160 for 10 weeks (Including material fee)

T: 7:00-8:30pm

W: 7:00-8:30pm


Culture Classes

 004 (Once a week)

This class is for those who are doing business with China, or those who will and want to do business with China. This is not a Chinese training class, but a class that teaches skills on how to do business with China, students also will learn Chinese culture, and how to communicate with Chinese businessmen. We will invite businessmen who have rich experiences in doing business with China to teach the class.

Total $170 for 4weeks (Including material fee)

 SA: 2:00-3:00pm

005 (Min:6 students)

This is for those who wants to learn Chinese Martial arts. The master is a martial arts professional who has over 10 years of martial arts education and coaching experience. The class will teach Chinese martial arts forms.

Total $160 for 10 weeks

M: 7:00-8:00PM

006 (Once a week)

This is a Chinese cooking class, no age limitation, and it is for whoever want to learn Chinese family cooking.

Total $160 for 10weeks (Cooking ingredients fee will be shared among students)

 S: 4:00-5:00pm

Classes may be changed per students' requests, or canceled or emerged due to no enough students. Please check our website frequently for updates.
